Freedom, impact, creativity, adventure, and spirituality. This is my authentic code, my blueprint to human hood if you will. These are the values that I design my life around. I use them as a guideline to fully take advantage of my time on this planet in alignment with my true self.
I sit here on a balcony in Prospect Park, Brooklyn as I type this blog post. I feel a humble reverence for life as I feel the breeze gently sweep my face and watch a kid play with a stick in the distance. I manifested a housesit in a $4,000,000 Scandinavian home overlooking the park in the best neighborhood in NYC with 4 days to spare. My trust muscle has gotten strong that I’ll always be supported.
I feel grateful to be living the life I could only dream of years ago.
But it’s not about the money. It’s about having the means to live the lifestyle I want to live, in the way I want to live it.
I think of all the balconies I’ve sat on similar to these around the world. The similar moments I’ve encountered. Through years of self-discovery, I’ve learned I don’t need much to be content. Being near nature helps tremendously, whether it’s a park or a body of water.
Living In Alignment
My formula to daily joy is quite simple. Meditation, gratitude, writing, movement. And obviously, and good coffee. Alignment isn’t something you can find outside of yourself. It’s something that begins by going inward and restoring your energy through silence.
We live in an overstimulating world where EVERYTHING is screaming for our attention. If we don’t make it a point to train our minds and our focus to become deliberate creators, we’re seriously draining our life force daily. And we are at the mercy of other people’s agendas. When we live in lack, in fear, we are operating from very limiting states of consciousness. When we believe we need something outside of ourselves to thrive, we give our power away.
That’s why it’s so important to raise your vibration and fully realize you are the creator of your own reality. Maybe that feels like a lot of responsibility, and it scares you to know you’re responsible for the situations in your life.
But once you start embracing your potential as a human, and utilizing your creative energy, you can use it to your advantage to redesign your entire life. Or, just shift the aspects that aren’t working for you. We manifest from self-worth. And our self-worth lies in what we believe to be true about ourselves.
Manifesting From Self Worth
Oftentimes when you read about how to use the law of attraction to manifest, the basic principle is simply raising one’s self-worth through positivity and conscious state affirmations. It’s not that simple if you have a stockpile of limiting beliefs underneath the affirmations that are going untouched.
Truthfully, it comes down to consistent self-work, but once you are able to peel back the subconscious layers of programming that keep you feeling small, (in a place of low self-worth) you’ll be able to grow into your most authentic self.
If we grew up in a home that continuously stressed about money, talked about lack of money, and operated out of scarcity mindset, we’re going to repeat that narrative in our own lives until we can see it for what it is. A belief. And when we can shift that belief on a subconscious level, we can rewrite it and create a more empowering narrative.
This was prevalent in my upbringing. Two single parents raising me separately, stressed about money. Even when there was enough money to live comfortably, there was still fear of losing it. Fear of loss, and what ifs. Consistent reinforcing of separateness between us and them (them being families who had money). So much that it even created an invisible barrier in my childhood friendships.
The point of that is, I had to create a new narrative of what it took to have abundance. What money actually signifed is freedom. Freedom of choice, action, lifestyle. And what if I could bypass the need to have tons of money and actually just live the lifestyle I wanted?
The intent creates motion and in turn, the action. Now, I find myself grateful for living a life of abundance. And I’m currently not making an active income, yet aware of there always being more than enough. And money finding me when I need it.
I just want you to know that anything is possible, and you’re a powerful human being capable of so much more than you think. When you believe that, you take your power back and can use it to create change in your life.
If you’re not enjoying your life presently: Ask yourself why? What am I holding onto that’s no longer serving me? What beliefs am I subscribing to on autopilot that are running the show?
Get curious. Let it fuel the fire to ignite the change in your life you’ve always dreamed of. And then be present enough to enjoy it. Want to go deeper? Read about becoming a quantum creator here.
As for me, I’m grateful to be walking 10 mile days again exploring a city of endless adventure. And to see people’s faces without masks again.
How will you make the most of this beautiful day?
